Now,
he needs you. Competitive
Ballroom Dancing
requires an incredible amount of determination, discipline and an actual
love of the sport. It also represents a significant financial commitment
from the family of the young Dancer. Many competitions provide
reduced fees to young dance competitors, but the related expenses do not
change. The additional classes and training sessions with professional
consultants to prepare for competition are of immeasurable
importance to compete at the higher levels. Competition fees and
related expenses are major financial obstacles to most who wish to
compete. They add up to a significant investment over a competitive
season. The requirement for a partner and/or an accompanying teacher
doubles that expense. The World and International level competitions are
usually out-of-state as they rotate locations. This means airfare, hotel,
local travel expenses and restaurants in addition to the actual
competition fees, registrations, special costumes and props. For a serious
competitor with future plans in the sport, the importance of participation
in these competitions cannot be overestimated. Without financial
assistance, Robert’s participation in out-of-state National,
International and World events will be impossible. All
money received will be used towards the 2005 competitive schedule. This is
a great opportunity. You will help a very talented young man achieve his
goals. By sponsoring, or helping to sponsor this world class athlete you
will also help him towards his dream of representing the USA in World
competition and bringing the Gold home!

importantly, you will be helping a boy as he is learning to make his mark
on the world a good one.
Sponsoring can be:
A non-specific donation is made towards future competitions.
Directed toward a specific event or portion of event.
Full sponsorship of one or more selected events.
**Average event fees vary from $150 for local events to
$4500 for world level events.
These
fees may include:
airfare,
hotel, competition fees, costumes and props, restaurants (for away events)
